Fisherman
23:30: It’s cold with heavy rain and wind. I climb onboard with all my gear to film a short story on sustainable shrimp fishing. Lucky for me David is going to assist me tonight and tomorrow. We set sail at midnight.
The fishermen fish twenty-four hours a day for seven to ten days in a row. They get up to only twenty minutes of sleep before the bell rings signalling they need to go at it again. These are highly dedicated and hard working men. It was amazing to see how they work, how they respect nature and care about the product.
As you can see, it was hard for me to keep up with these strong fisherman. It was a tough and bumpy ride, but definitely an exciting adventure.
